RUN WRITE-UP
Hi all
Dingaling and Tinks prepared a nice long skinny one for over 30 hashers and an Aussie virgin, who wasn’t called Bruce. A meandering trail along one side of the river with a deviation to the left, and back on the other side of the river. Pics include two from Mudman, of guess what evening spectacle…

Countryside was a mix of sugar cane fields, tall grass and mostly dirt tracks, with occasional puddles from the recent rains. Again the Hash Gods smiled upon us. Some clever checks, some said “sneaky” due to the length, kept the runners largely together.
Not all runners participated in the checks. At one point, Bangs my Sister and Brother Lover were observed discussing whose turn to do the dishes as the others did the needful. The walkers had it easy, ambled in around the same time as the runners, after the latter did the loop at the far end of the mostly long skinny trail.
Down downs were plentiful with quite a few returning runners, the virgin and futile attempts to baptise a few relative newbies.
The circle struggled with the Dane, Anders, with the GM little moved with the rabble’s suggestions, supported by Dave the Rave’s advice not to rush it. Quick witted, crochet knitter, Planin was nearly baptised Nitwit, but the GM wanted the rabble to mull it over for two weeks. Similarly Bangon, who liked the idea of Never Off a little too much will also be tried again next time.
Twenty hashers enjoyed the array of food available at the new Lunar market. That didn’t stop Bruised Willie from trying to convene a committee meeting at one end of the table, but “nearly Nitwit” wouldn’t have a bar of it.
On on, Donga
