Great turnout of 47 hashers for the Donga & Honeymoon All Hashers 5.7km trail with a beer stop amongst the mangroves, link to some pics

The trail included a long boring stretch that wasn’t part of the original plan, as renovation works inside the mangroves brought plan B into play to keep the beer stop and run site location near the picturesque Chan Wang restaurant. Over 30 hashers attended the On After, on top of other patrons, which challenged the kitchen and servers alike.

The hares were noted lurking on the run, ensuring the walkers didn’t stray into any of the many false trails designed to keep competitive front runners Easy Off and Mudman within coo-ee of the lumbering pack. Rapid walker, Green Gobbler dutifully collected two bags of rubbish along the way and professed his thrills, if not skills, of hashing at the same time.

In the circle, Hong Ting Tong had to remind Head Ballcock of their upcoming travel details, while Slime and Lucky Me graced us with their belated presence half way through the down downs. GM Bruised Willie promised a return to normal hashing terrain, like vines, thorns and other perils, for the upcoming 20th anniversary and AGM run with exciting details to follow.
